This Dendrobium NOID was a donation from South Yunnan, I leaning toward Dendrobium minutiflorum S. C. Chen et Tsi.
Normally it blooms from August to September, but I have been playing with the heat in the green house.

There are very few pictures of minutiflorum around Kenneth so if that's what it turns out to be it will be a first here on the Forum.

It has been in bud for a few weeks, we have been waiting for it to open. It has swelling now and you can see the lines were the petals will open, so hopefully soon. And I will post its photos when it opens.

Up date:
I have waited for weeks for this Dendrobium to open, and no luck. I am back in the states for 47 days of well deserved RnR. And will have to depend on students to take photos when it does open.

Well Kenneth let's hope that you have trained those students well or we could miss the whole flowering.

This seems to happen every time I take RnR. Over the years I have found that some orchids are none cooperative and down right stubborn.

I love buds and that's a very attractive & promising looking spike of buds in the last photo.

I was shocked to see that, it's like it grew over night and it is one of our NOID's at the moment.
