Yeah thanks i think looks really healthy. Mine doesnt look as good but I think I must have it too wet like other Phrags. Does either of the parent plants like the drier conditions?

I grow pearcii in rock wool and that keep it quite wet, but I have caudatum and popowii I keep the, on the drier side. As they can grow epiphticaly on tree in the wild.

At the moment I doing a little experiment with some Grandes I have two plants in bark one in water one out of water and one Grande in rock wool sitting in water to see who they fair really and they all seem to be doing quite well.

Yeah I'm growing a Grande too, mines in bark, I have it sitting in water in the spring/summer and just wet it the rest of the year...i never let it dry and it seems to grow really well that's why the Weaver has been a bit of a headache as ive been trying it the same way.. Seeing yours growing well though mate it think I'm going to make it a priority and get it in fresh bark and grow it the opposite way to the Grande....

Always worth to have a change around and give it a go its in coarse bark I'd treat it the same as Grande.
When I had my first pearcii it was in bark it never grow for two years, then I started watering it on a daily basis and it started growing.

There is a very strange thing with plants what work with one dosent with the other.

I was talking to a few people and some swear there Grande needs to dry out between each watering and some say it needs to, stay wet all the time. Some times it depends on the parents used in the cross of your plant,

As long as the plant dosent get dehydrated, have a play around with growing it.
