No, it's definitely real, I've got one growing in my garden, the drawback is they are very demanding, and expensive to maintain so buy the male version, they are a lot less trouble ;) !!!

I bought seeds of the lesser known 'Dog' hybrid and it is much less trouble than any of the human ones. Just move it around the garden once a day.

I'm now looking for the 'Cat'. Apparently it moves itself around but you just can't keep it in its own pot for very long. It craps in your borders and digs out all your other plants.
Thank [insert deity] that no-one has developed 'Badger'.

Strange what turns up on e-bay. Ten monkey orchid seeds seems to be very popular. Five million divided by ten ... that pod is potentially worth its weight in Unobtanium.

If they use moulds to get the human shape, people buying this seed are going to be very disappointed :angry-nono:

Hmmm, the text says 'pepino eggplant'. Here's what I got from a search on that:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Solanum_muricatum

My first thought was that it was an outright photoshop, as how could you get the hair to be a different colour? Or could you do that by having some bits clear and other bits not? I suspect they are too regular to be made with molds though?

They do a few others:

The blue peonies look like poorly photoshoped pink peonies to me... some petals are still pink.

Also ginseng is a root not a fruit I believe....

A Chinese grower did mould and produce a baby shape which apparently didn't go down to good!

Along the same lines...... this takes the biscuit! (I've reported it as fraudulent but no doubt eBay will ignore the report like they normally do)

Fake as it gets, I have seen these in China, but they never let you get close or touch it. I suspect wax figuring to show, if you grow this you will have one too.

Another eBay marvel...... five orchid seeds? That's virtually homeopathic.

Well they have to charge a fortune out of all the seeds in the pod........the electron microscope needed to count them costs a fortune.

Disclaimer.....some hyperbole may have been used in this post.
